Finally settled on a date for the official AltMal Day!
How does the 8th of February sound to you guys? :'D
It's close to Valentine's Day, aw, just realised that... but, yeah, this date was chosen because that's when the General's now infamous AltMal piece Odium was first published, and as far as her clueless British brain is aware, that was the first AltMal fanfiction available anywhere. So I thought that was a good enough date if any.
If you have any objections to this, please feel free to voice them in the comments. That's what they're there for!
I wouldn't want to make a big decision like this without consulting my loyal Army. :3

Thank you, thank you. But seriously, I am utterly mind-fucked. MIND-FUCKERY, THY NAME IS AC2. Ubisoft must be running out of ideas and turning to crack conspiracy theories to get their games going or something. All I can say is WHAT.

Still. It was a beautiful game. The graphics would reduce a grown man to tears with its eye melting magnificence.

One small complaint though.

WRRRRRRRRYYYYYYY ALTAIR, WHYYYYYY. WHY SO MAN-WHORISH. WHY SO HETERO ALL OF A SUDDEN.

AltMal Fact of the Day: People, check out Codex Pages 1 and 13! Malik is mentioned in Altair's letters! The sign we've all been waiting for! For all the lack of descendant in AC2, he's mentioned by name at least. Proof! Proof that they interacted after the game! Although I find it hilarious that Altair sounds slightly sulky when he writes about him, almost like he's being heckled by a nagging wife. It's hysterical. Made me laugh like a loon.





Only a few days until Assassin's Creed II comes out for some of us! Lucky Australians...

We operate a no spoilers policy in (on?) this fan-club. So no shouting out what happens to Ezio and Leo... although we all know where that goes, ho ho ho ho ...

But, I digress. In true nostalgic fashion, let us all cast our minds back wistfully to when this fandom was brand new and gleaming and people thought we were lunatics for liking to write and draw about two bigger lunatics shouting at each other and occasionally Doing It. Memories, memories.... fond memories. Anyway, what with AC2 coming up, it is time for nostalgia! Post your favourite AltMal song here in a comment: maybe it's the music that reminds you of them, or the lyrics, or even something else, hell, I don't know, our minds work in strange ways and associate stranger music with strangest things.
